Most people have a pension here, an ISA there, some cover from work and a rough idea it should add up to something. A financial plan puts it on one page and shows what it actually adds up to.
What a plan covers
Everything with your name on it: pensions, savings, investments, property, debts and the protection behind them. Then the other half, which matters more: when you want to stop working, what you want to spend, who depends on you, and what should happen to it all eventually.
The plan joins the two. It shows whether the life you want is funded, where the gaps are, and which order to fix them in.
How it comes together
A free discovery meeting first, about an hour, at our Weymouth office, at your kitchen table or over video. We gather the paperwork, check what each existing plan really costs and really holds, and run the numbers on where you're heading.
You get a written plan with our recommendations and our fees. You decide what to act on. Nothing happens until you say so.
"The plan was the first time I'd seen everything in one place. It changed what we did next."

The annual review
A plan written once and left alone goes stale within a couple of years. Jobs change, markets move, allowances shift, children arrive. Once a year we sit down, check the plan against real life and adjust it. That review is where most of the long-term value lives.
What it costs
The first conversation is free. If we go on to work together, our fees for advice and ongoing reviews are set out in writing and agreed before any work starts. Fee structure to be inserted from Quilter-approved disclosure.
